We here in the Pacific Northwest are far from Los Angeles and New York where you may apparently be arrested for UGG apparel. That isn't to say that we don't care about style, but warmth and comfort may be more important in the winter. I usually buy for comfort and UGGS are comfortable. I also liked the fact that you're not supposed to wear socks with them.

I love these them! They feel a bit snug at first but once you break them in they are so comfortable. I love being able to wear them outside to walk the dog. They are super warm, I highly recommend them.

Coquette ugg slippers are incredibly comfortable and I wear them almost every day, even in the snow. I wear 8-8.5 and I have an 8 in these and they're perfect.
